Rate My Birth Care (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the review platforms at ratemydoulas.com and ratemymidwifes.com, where families can read and write reviews of birth doulas, midwives, and OB/GYNs. • To verify reviewers and keep reviews honest and authentic.
• To connect families with providers when you submit an inquiry.

We share personal information only as described here:

• With providers you contact. When you submit an inquiry to a provider, we share your contact details and message with that provider so they can respond. We may charge providers a fee to receive these inquiries.
• Publicly. Reviews you post — including your display name and rating — are visible to anyone who visits the site.
• With service providers. Vendors who help us run the platform, such as our authentication provider, hosting provider, and payment processor, acting on our behalf under contract.
• For legal reasons. When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of our users or the public.
